The choir is a 16 voice mixed choir based in Steinbach, MB, performing works from a variety of time periods. The chamber choir was first formed in the fall of 2018 as a project of Eastman Choral Association in Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. The chamber choir was formed in part as a celebration of the association’s 30th year anniversary. Initially called the Eastman Chamber Choir, the choir performed four pieces at its initial concert – works by Esenvalds, Mendelssohn, Paul Mealor, and Fredrik Sixten. The choir soon changed it’s name to Exaudi Chamber Choir, and is currently anticipating performing its first full season of concerts for the 2019-20 season.
